[RPi5] NDR SH HD crashes at 19:30 every day

  • I have an environment with an Octopus NET Pro (server for SAT>IP), a Raspi PI 500. Before that I used a Panasonic TV for several years, showing TV via SAT>IP - and it works over the years without any problems.

I switched to the PI5 and LibreElec 12.2.1 last week - because the Panasonic died and its very difficult to get SAT>IP TV Sets.

    The problem:

I can not view NDR SH HD every day between 19:30 and 20:00 - this is a regional TV program here in northern Germany and at that time, the broadcaster switches to various regional region program (Hamburg, Niedersachen, Schleswig-Holstein and MV). The program freezes at once, when the broadcaster switches. With the Panasonic TV this was not a problem. I use the Octopus NET PVR client.

  • I'm familiar with German TV. The problem might be the data during the switch to regional program. Post a log from that time...

Please provide a full debug log.

From memory, the change from National to Regional, and back, also has a change in encryption.

is from NextPVR backend playing the sample that DeltaMikeCharlie linked but I can do LE if you think it is different I can repost. Thinking about the network tuner I use doesn't do PID filtering so I'd have to manually add the pids base on different scan times.

The sample changes mpeg ts programs about 12 minutes in, but Kodi did pick up the change and continue.

Well, I tried that, but the log file is too large.pastekodi did nothing (I assume it stop due to the large size), - but no error message.

It's essential to see what happens under the hood. Can you upload the log as an attachment? It could be necessary to compress and split the file.
