[RPi5] TV Player: How to exit or stop playing?

Hello folks and thank you in advance.

I have the latest LibreElec up and running (12.0.2) on my Pi5, and a PVR connected. This may be a 101 question so apologies.

After I finish watching a show, how do I exit the TV player app? The back button takes me to the home screen but the TV keeps playing behind the menu. I'd prefer a simple way to exit the app and make sure it isn't playing anymore without rebooting or powering off the Pi.

Use the keymap addon.

Under fullscreen live tv set any button you like to do ”stop” . I use the back button

Just use the "stop" button, as when you watching any video/movie.

On some minimal remotes you need to press the OK/Enter key to bring up the OSD and then navigate to stop. The solution to that is using a less minimal remote with an actual stop button.
