I did a fresh install of 12.0.2 yesterday and CEC was no longer working. I'm running on a Raspberry Pi 5 8 GB. I reverted back to fresh install of 12.0.1 and it worked immediately out of the box. My TV is a LG E8PUA Series. Logs from 12.0.2 are attached.

^ this shows you are using the HDMI connector furthest from the power connector. Move HDMI to the port nearest the power port and CEC will work again. Support for CEC on both connectors has been intentionally removed due to problems seen when multiple HDMI connections are active. It is now only supported on HDMI-A-1.

That did fix the issue. For whatever reason HDMI-A-1 was not showing any signal so I stuck with A-2. By moving it to another HDMI port on my TV I was able to get it to work. Thanks!

I previously updated Libreelec on my RPi4 to 12.0.2. Since then, CEC no longer works via the TV remote control 😕
The Pulse CEC starts and is shown as active in the settings, but the remote control remains without function.
After downgrading to 12.0.1 everything works again. Noticeable:
In 12.0.1 TWO (identical) CEC adapters are displayed under Settings --> System --> Input --> Peripherals.
In 12.0.2 only ONE adapter is shown at this point. But Kodi cannot be controlled via the remote control.

Using the other HDMI port did NOT solve the problem. There is still no CEC connection.
But I recognized that using HDMI0 only delivers very poor resolution (768p). With the same HDMI wire the other HDMI port (HDMI-A-2) I get 4k resolution in my 4k TV.
Does that suggest that the HDMI port is broken?

Do you use a case? If yes, remove the RPi from it and connect the HDMI cable directly to the connector on the PCB.
so long,
