[x86-64] Boots Into Wrong Resolution

  • Hi,

I have a problem with Kodi after I upgraded the screen from 1080p to 4k.

I have set Settings/System/resolution to 3840x2160 at 60hz. Both the Asus pn52 and the screen suports this resolution.

When I boot Kodi the screen outputs 1080p but the UI resolution is 4k, which mean that I can only the 1/4 of the screen. The upper left one.

If I then play a video and return to the main screen then both the resolution and the UI are 4k.

I need som help getting KODI to output 4k at boot.

I'd recommend (re)setting the desktop resolution to 1080@60. This is the max resolution for current skins and forcing things to 4K desktop just makes the UI run slower. Configure 4K modes in the mode whitelist for playback only.
