Since a couple of weeks and updating to the most recent nightlies now and then, flickering occurs whenever OSD (info or menu or up next) is shown and interlacing is enabled and used (when a SD channel is played by pvr.hts). You can see it happen in this video:https://bruh-clips.com/clips/b199383f Attached is a debug log, at the end I enabled debug and played a bit with OSD (pressing info a couple of times during SD channel play). Unfortunately I don't know since when this happens. Is this something known? Is this something I can fix by changing settings? If further info is needed, please ask.

Thanks for the report, I could reproduce it here - it also happens on RPi4 when using software deinterlace.
A workaround (dropping the problematic "fences" kodi changes) should be in nightlies soon
kodi (RPi): disable fences on all RPi devices by HiassofT · Pull Request #8637 · LibreELEC/LibreELEC.tvThis fixes hefty video flickering with software deinterlace and active OSD overlay as seen on RPi4 and RPi5. See also forum report here…github.comso long,

Thank you very much for the prompt fix/workaround. I built an image with the patch and no more flickering!
