Sorry, I am not a reviewer. Definitely KI Pro is better choice, there is VP9 hw decoding, HDR, DDR4 RAM, 1G ethernet and BT 4.1. I am not a fan of Android. I only tested live TV. Live TV still in new Android 7.1.1 only via DTV apk. In DTV is DVB-C support. In secret menu cccam was replaced with oscam. In DTV persist old illness with intermittent DD passthrough playback. I also compared speed of channel switching in DTV with my latest LibreELEC builds and it is on the same level.

Test build LibreELEC-S905.arm-8.0-8.0.2-devel-20170604170012-gd560977-I.tar with johngatl's '10bit/HDR/Dithering Test Build' kernel. This test build is mainly for KI Pro.

Also in TVHeadend webif you can manage channel numbering, picons ...

LibreELEC addon numbering is not important. Most important is TVHeadend version. Current version is 4.2.2-35.

I tried to follow repository numbering and increased version with new update, but it introduced confusion in versions. Now I decided add letter to repository version. Finally 8.1.111a means update for current official repository version 8.1.111. BTW 8.1.111 is buggy, it is compiled with wrong kernel support, you have to use 8.1.111a or older running version.

Without debug log I can't help you. In Kodi you have to enable debug logging and component-specific logging -> Video component.

Try this devel-nougat version LibreELEC-S905.arm-8.0-8.0.2-devel-nougat-20170611164128-gc2c555c-I.img.gz.

There have to be fix for live tv playback freezing.

This version has nougat dtb for KI Pro. For KI Plus/KII Pro replace dtb from kszaq's nougat dtbs.

Be aware nougat dtbs are incompatible with MM dtbs.

DVB support in the LibreELEC repository is broken.The latest kszaq's MM kernel has broken DVB. The nougat kernel version is correct. Pls, ask kszaq to recompile them with correct kernel support (nougat version). For now you can try to use tvheadend from my #1.

Test version with OpenSSL.

LibreELEC-S905.arm-8.0-8.0.2b-t1-I.tar

This version has MM kernel -> standard dtbs.
