7.09.008 Odroid c2 library won't remember content setting

  • Hi all,

I updated today to version 7.09.008

I use a shared library using mysql and this always worked like a breeze.
All my data is stored on my network.

I noticed that after upgrading my library isn't showing anything .. it is completely empty and that the content of my folders is set to "none".
When I try to change it to "Movies" (or any of the other settings) and confirm it, none of the settings are saved.

    I've tried to
    - reboot
    - disable all automatic library updaters (like watchdog)
    - removed my smb shares and installed them again

    Can someone please help?

  • I found this: LibreELEC. And it might be related.

Yes, I'm quite sure it's the same problem that I faced.
    But please do that:
    1. In settings enable "Wait for network before starts Kodi"
    2. Enable Debug log
    3. Reboot
    4. After boot, from the ssh shell, execute:
    A: journalctl -a | pastebinit
    B: cat $HOME/.kodi/temp/kodi.log | pastebinit

And give us the two links that the shell will "answer".

  • PCLI & UNRc

    Thank you in advance.
(The "wait for network") was already set to 20 seconds

  • You are having the same problem that I faced on my Odroid C-2: LibreELEC
The problem seem the network interface was added (eth0 {add}), next deleted (eth0 {del}) and next added again (eth0 {add})....
It results the "wait for network" does not work.
For what I know until now I don't have seen a solution.

  • I just installed the latest version (7.09.009) hoping this problem would be solved, but it wasn't.
Is there anything I can do manually to solve this?
