My initial test is very promising. I turned the tv off, waited for a soft click (solenoid?) which I assume means it has gone into a deep sleep mode, turned it back on (another click) and kodi was still running - no oops in the journal. I will report again when it has been off overnight, but I am pretty confident it is fixed, thanks to everyone involved.

Installed this earlier today, watched for 1 hour, turned tv off for two hours and turned it back on just now and Pi is working like it should, thanks.
Tv off overnight and turned on with no problems. I realised that I had patched the kernel of nightly 2509 (the last in the kernel 5 series) so I tested again with the latest nightly, confirmed the oops with tv off/on, applied the devel tar and all is now fixed. Again, thank you. Please confirm when this patch to kernel 6.0.6 makes it into the nightlies.
The kernel update https://github.com/LibreELEC/LibreELEC.tv/pull/7087 has been merged, the next nightly build should contain the fix.

Confirmed, latest nightlies with kernel 6.0.6 operate normally without above tar patch. Thank you.
