Splash screen not appearing on the first boot.

    I am using a raspberry pi 4 with librelec flashed on the sd card. When powered on with hdmi connected already to the tv, the rgb screen with all the colours display, but then it goes black and the signal goes off. Even when trying to connect the hdmi after it has completely booted(by watching the ACT led, tried this method cuz read in some posts), the rpi4 is detected by the tv but no signal. ANy help?

    The rainbow screen normally indicates missing, obsolete or wrong boot files. RPi4 has gone through several hardware iterations since launch and the LE 9.2.8 image? is now quite old and has boot firmware that does not support the latest iterations of RPi4 hardware. The LE 10.0.3 image is superior in just about all aspects on RPi4 hardware so please try that.
