From LE9 to LE10 on a RPi : h264 videos not smooth any more

    My videos are mkv files h264 1080x1440 25 fps MBAFF interlaced (recorded from French TV).

    I have no problem with LE9 on a RPi3, with the videos playback settings :

    - Adjust display refresh rate : start/stop

    - Sync playback to display

    - Material acceleration : OMXPlayer + MMAL

    And the in-playback video settings :

    - Deinterlace method => auto

    With LE10 on a RPi4, I have the same settings, except there is no material acceleration option.

    In the in-playback settings it's deinterlace instead of auto for the Deinterlace method.

    The videos are jerky, not smooth anymore, and CPU usage is high (300% vs 20% on the LE9/RPi3).

    Is it possible it comes from the lack of material acceleration option in LE10 ?

    Is there a way to get such an option ?

    LE10/11 have deinterlacing support, but using all-new driver code (the entire video pipeline is different) so it's completely possible to have different results. Can you create some sample files to share so we developers can have a look?
