Latest Download Doesn't activate the network adapter

  • I've been trying to upgrade a Rock64 to the latest LE official version (10.0.2-a1) from the website but on installation it appears to fail to activate the onboard network adapter. No lights come on the adapter and no connection to the internet can be made. There is a message that flashes too briefly to read fully during bootup about "remote communication failed ". I've tried re-flashing but to no avail. I have flashed a Debian image to check if the adapter is dead and the lights then come on as expected so it appears the problem may lie with LE.

Can anyoine offer advice or assistance?

    Thanks in advance

  • Problem solved. The package that was downloaded using the USB SD Creator when selecting Rockchip RK3328 in the "Select Version" box was LibreElec-RK3328.arm-10.0.2-a1.img and it does not fire-up the Rock 64 properly. When I manually downloaded Libre..............10.0.2-rock64.img everything worked fine.
