Was hoping somebody here could help me with my Slice

Since it seems most online resources for Slice have disappeared over the last couple of years, I thought why the heck not try here.

I pulled my Slice out the loft a couple of years ago after hardly using it since I bought it, and wanted to make proper use of it. Tried installing Retropie on it when I had the CM1, and performance wasn't great. Couldn't even get past the controller config. Decided to upgrade to a CM3, but you know how life is... it took literally two years for me to get round to doing that.

Anyway, CM3 is installed, Retropie is installed and running, but I now need help getting audio working.

Unfortunately I'm not the right person it's all double Dutch to me. I'm smart enough to be able to copy the dt-blob.bin file into the correct folder to get USB and LAN working, but when it comes to the next bit, messing with the Kernel to get audio working, I'm completely lost.

Hoping there's someone out there with enough spare time to help a noob out

Sorry I should have made it clearer in my original post, my use of Slice as a media player has long since passed and was hoping to turn it into a Retro games console.

Thank you for your reply, but can you dumb this down for me? I have no idea what I need to do with GitHub to get the sound card drivers to work on Retropie.
