How stable is le10 x86_x64

  • Hi all,

Haven't been here for a while but wanting to upgrade my current setup and looking for advice.

My first thought when looking for a upgrade was the pi4 but browsing this forum it looks like this isn't that stable yet so probably looking to avoid going down that route.

Now my small form factor pc is apparently not compatible with the new windows 11 so I'm thinking of putting a new desktop together and donating the old on for libreelec.

The computer isn't that old which is kind of annoying that Windows 11 isn't compatible but thats beside the point, it wasn't a expensive one so I don't mind upgrading.

So how stable is le10 for x86_x64 for desktop.

It runs the amd ryzen 5 2400g

    16gb ram

A m2 ssd and a sata ssd and a couple of large wd blue drives.

I assume all this would be more than powerfull enough for le10 but just wanted to know how stable it is compared to the pi4 version

    As always thanks in advance

    compatible ?

someone installed win11 on an aged Pentium4 and the requirements for win11 are bypassable (search the INet)

*Win11-linked items removed by moderator, no need to compare a PentiumIV and a AMD Ryzen 2400G*

    x86_x64:

i'm running LE 10.0.1 and nightly on an NUC without issues (whereas I need to say: 10.0.1 came out yesterday)

I have no idea what's up for AMD...

I've read about a couple of people running LE or Linux with Kodi, and that it's doing fine.

There is only one way for you to find it out for yourself, and that is to simply try it yourself.

Use a bootable USB stick and run LibreELEC for a testdrive.
