Swapping Gtx 1050 with Rx 570

    Found an old pc in a kerb side chuck out .. it had a Rx 570 inside!!

    tested out okay on my old setup

    at this point is it really worth swapping out my HTPC Gtx 1050 as it still does all I need ?

    The least you can do is swap the cards and check if the RX570 is properly supported in various video types and sizes.

    Also a watt meter could be useful in comparing the electricity draw for each card.

    My UPS has a display .. the Rx570 does use more - seemed to be around 30-70 watts more than the Gtx 1050

    video seemed slightly sharper but orange colours were way too strong .. iridescent hot orange glow
