Wireless Controller Recommendation

I am in the U.S. and seeking your recommendations on a wireless controller that works with LibreElec 9.2.6 on the Raspberry PI 4.

My experience so far with a generic controller, GameSir G3s, has been horrible with multiple inputs and having to power on, power off, and power on to get a working connection using either 2.4 Ghz or bluetooth. Using a wired Logitech controller works without issue.

I am loving LibreElec on the Raspberry PI 4 and don't mind investing money on a nice controller. I am open to using something other than a game controller.

Flirc USB <= then use any IR remote you like. It's not cheap, but it's simple, hassle free, and you can reprogram it any time you like when a newer shinier remote catches your eye.

I am using the Flirc Kodi case for the Raspberry PI 4 and it is well designed.

Ordered the Flirc USB!

Too bad I just dumped a box of remotes to Goodwill several months ago--spring cleaning.

Any suggestions on a remote with the Flirc USB? I am capable of buying several and testing, but..

I find remotes are very much a personal-taste thing. In the UK the "Sky Box" (Satellite) remotes are solid and have all the right buttons.

Paired with the Keymap Editor add-on, it is very versatile. The build quality is not obviously not like on a harmony, but it is okay.

Edit: the air mouse is also not the best on the planet but I don't need it quite often

I like Minix remotes but the one I use at the moment the A2 lite, featuring a "six axis gyroscope and accelerometer", will not work in Windows but is great in Libreelec. I don't do any gaming but I have heard of people using them for that. I got that one because it was the cheapest backlit Minix remote available and in fairness was not designed to work in Windows.
