Wouldn't that make my surround useless?
No, more than 2 channels are available by "2.0 channels" setup. They are encoded at those 2 channels.

Well, I'm back and found the solution. But first... Thank you everyone for the help. Especially you Da Flex I appreciated the support. It took a while to come back as I got terribly sick from Covid, and afterwards had no time because of college.
I tried a lot of things, amd always thought my TV was the problem, but today I found out otherwise. The problem was with Kodi, which has a super unintuitive solution.

I had to set the output to 2.0 und turn on passthrough... Weird.
I'm very happy that you are heal-thy (censored word ) again.
Normally any amount of LE audio output channels should be mapped to the right amount of input channels of the target device. LE had a bug on that mapping, but it's hopefully fixed now.
My suggestion is to try the latest LE 10 Beta, because of the mentioned bug fix.
Will try out!
Btw, does LE10 support HDR @4k60?
I just recently tried some things, and definitely saw some discoloration. Don't know though if its because of HDR, or some other color settings.
4K60 support is still work-in-progress in LE10, it is one of the things being actively worked on, along with 10-bit/12-bit support which is inter-woven with the same topic.
