Wich Image for S905 KII Pro with DVB-S2?

    Hello everybody...

    I am using a MeCool KII Pro with DVB-S2, it is currently running LE 8.2.3.1 on it with Kodi 17.6.

    I would like to update to the latest stable version and also from 4.2 to 4.3 for TVH.

    Unfortunately, I haven't dealt with it for 2 years and i am currently completely overwhelmed with it. Can someone tell me if and how I can do the update? I wouldn't want to set up the system from scratch, but of course I'll do that if necessary. SD card is available for testing. However, I can't find any suitable images or DTB files anywhere.

    I hope for your help, for the easiest method ...

    You can try my KI Pro image, but you need to replace the dtb, maybe it can work with it.

    DTB: gxbb_p200_k2_pro.dtb

    I can’t guarantee anything, because the SoC and tuner are different, but it’s worth a chance.

    Okay, wait a minute...

    There are two different versions of this device. If your version has an S905D, the SoC and the tuner are the same as the KI Pro.

    However, if there is really an S905D SoC in the device, the previously linked DTB will not work!

    If this is the case, try it first without replacing the DTB.

    But if that doesn't work, try it with this DTB: gxl_p231_2g_dvb.dtb
