LibreELEC 9.2.6 - Black screen on RPI2

Hello,

I installed a fresh new LibreELEC 9.2.6 on my RPI2. On first run it checked and resized filesystem, then rebooted itself. Splashscreen with LibreELEC was shown and then only black screen.

Tried also LibreELEC 9.0.2 image with identical result.

Do you know what could be a problem?

Image is written to blank SDCard (using Rufus 3.13) on Win10.

RPI is offline, only connected devices are FullHD monitor via HDMI and USB keyboard+mouse combo. (Keyboard is functional, because I skipped the reboot countdown pressing enter).

Both LE versions showing the same problem is a bit odd. The common factor is the SD card.

Other than that in a rare case, perhaps it's some type of hardware (GPU) failure.

Try a different SD card for starters.

I tried another SDCard (Some old Samsung 2 GB) with same results.

Then tried OpenELEC 8.0.2 which works (even on original SDCard Kingston 16 GB - this card was suggested to be used with RPi2).

Try Etcher to install on microSD.

Still same result. Image check in Etcher was succesful.

Is possible to run boot in text mode to see what failed?

You could activate log level 2 at advancedsettings.xml and read kodi.log after boot.

Level 1 also enables debugging, but without the onscreen debug OSD.
