FLIRC and audio profile key map

Hi,

I need a button on my remote to quickly change audio profile. First of all my keymap.xlm has not been created so I created it. Then I added proper commands like for keyboard. I have read thar FLIRC is visible as a keyboard. I wanted to have my remote color buttons available for it so I assigned F1 and F2, but it did not work. Next I assigned just simple 1 and 2 but it still hasn't been working. Could you plese give me a tip how can I make it working? Should I edit differed key map file in other location for FLIRC?

Try /storage/.kodi/userdata/keymaps/remote.xml with content like:

Test with this commands first, just to make sure we use the right config file for your RC:

instead of remote

I assume mglae is right. So test this /storage/.kodi/userdata/keymaps/keyboard.xml please:

Maybe you just had the wrong file name (keymap.xml instead of keyboard.xml).

I have everything exactly like that, the same path. I tested both file names and it still doesn't work. Is it possible that FLIRC has other map file location?

I'm no FLIRC expert, but the name indicates that it has to be configured like a LIRC device. Read here.

No, although the device has "LIRC" in it's name it has nothing to do with lirc or the other infrared remotes - it presents itself to the system as a keyboard.

Enable debug logging in kodi, push the button and then post the kodi debug log - this will show which key kodi received and give more hints.
