Hi,
Yeah, $subject, basically. This is on LibreELEC (Krypton) v7.90.008 alpha (Estuary default skin). The font seems too big/wide. Kodi bug, maybe?
Thanks in advance!
Edit: forgot to mention this is on x86-64 generic, tested at both 1080p and 2160p.

Screenshots help.
(Press the PrtScr key and look in the screenshots folder)
And it's probably more a Kodi problem than a LibreELEC issue.
It's originally intended to show an X.X.X format number so once we pad it with "blah blah (community) X.X.XXX blah" it overflows. It's not an issue once we arrive at 8.0.0 (official) so it's known but not very high on the priority list

Unfortunately, people who care about kernel versions are probably the ones running the padded alphas. On the other hand, uname -a on the terminal does the trick (again, Joe User won't care). Sorry for the noise, I just reported this because I didn't find any other report about it.
