Hi there,
I used an old Intel NUC (not exactly sure which model - should be around 8 years old) with my old Samsung 1080p TV. This worked just fine. Now I got myself a new 4K TV and all I get is a white cursor in the upper left corner. The TV claims it receives a 1200p signal.
LibreELEC is running. I can open a shell over the network. I read about xrandr, but this is the output I get from it:
xrandr: output HDMI1 cannot use rotation "normal" reflection "none"
Is there anything I can do? I do not need to send a 1200p or even 4K signal. 1080p like before would be enough and the TV should be able to accept it. Actually, most of the stuff on the little box is in 720p.
Update: editing files on the shell is not a problem. I am somewhat proficient with linux systems. I just treated the NUC and LibreELEC like a black box so far.
Update2: Should probably have provided some more technical information:
Machine is a Intel NUC DN2820FYK from 2014.
LIbreELEC is Generic.x86_64-9.2.4
TV is a Grundig 55 LVO 8599
Connection is via HDMI plugged into HDMI1 on the TV and the one and only hdmi port on the NUC
