ui edges are cut

Greetings,

I've tried booting 9.2.4 on my setup (Intel G4560) with a hdmi 2.0 cable to a LG tv that supports at most 1080p and I see that the edges of the ui are cut.

I'd assume that the igd supports 1080p without any problem and that the tv is ok (I have another streamer running 1080p with an hdmi 1.4 cable) which works ok.

can it be a bad cable? if no, is there a way fix it configuration wise?

it has no pc mode nor overscan/auto scaling.

I think it has to do with the cable or jack, the tv has tw0 jacks, one on the rear and one on the side.

the rear one is connected with 1080 hdmi 1.4 cable to a streamer running libreelec, the side one is connected to the pc.

if I use the rear jack + the 1.4 hdmi cable with the pc it works.

I think that it must be the cable, thing ism I'm not sure if it expected or not

Why? Do you think the cable is too thin for the TV image, and that you are now have cut edges?

simple. I'd assume the jacks are ok both, if I replace pc with the streamer, it works well

so apparently, I has just scan set for the rear hdmi jack but not the side.

after setting the side one to just scan, all is well.
