  • Hello,

Not working update auto or manual mode. Only refresh the screen. I run pastekodi command:

I'm a hungarian user, i set up all to hungarian language:
The "F\xc3\xa1jln\xc3\xa9v:" = "Fájlnév:" === "Filename:" in english.
But I don't think, the probllem is in the hungarian language settings, I think it is a coding promblem in unicode -> ascii conversion.

  • Thanks a lot!

I try "Addon for LibreELEC 9.2".

After the install commands, thats all right!

The upgrade method shows warning message (in auto mode), I could upgrade the device.

I hope the next updates will be different automatically :)

  • tozoli Thanks for testing. There is still the ascii string error in version 20200906 when notifying auto update.

The error should be fixed in 20200912. If you have the time please update the test addon, manually downgrade LibreELEC to 9.2.3, try the auto upgrade again and post links to kodi.log and kodi.old.log.

  • Hello,

I refreshed the settings addon to 20200912, thx.

But i tried change manually downgrade (9.2.5 to 9.2.3), only flash window and nothing hapened...

    I tried a reinstall 9.2.5 version.

    Log after the reinstall:

    http://ix.io/2xyL

... and thx, to wait for network switch, i will use it!

  • Thanks for testing. Downgrade is not possible because the older release files are not available on the server. And yes, there should be a failure notification on manual download error.

For Generic i.e. the update file is listing LibreELEC-Generic.x86_64-9.2.[0234].{tar|img.gz] on releases.libreelec.tv, but only LibreELEC-Generic.x86_64-9.2.4.{tar|img.gz] are available.

    Ping CvH.

sry I do not understand what is not working, not sure what you try to explain

the release server currently hold these files

    Code
    LibreELEC-Generic.x86_64-9.2.4.img.gz
    LibreELEC-Generic.x86_64-9.2.4.ova
    LibreELEC-Generic.x86_64-9.2.4.tar
  • The update file for LibreELEC-settings addon defines the availability of the following files for Generic 9.2:

    Code
    LibreELEC-Generic.x86_64-9.2.4.img.gz
    LibreELEC-Generic.x86_64-9.2.4.tar
    LibreELEC-Generic.x86_64-9.2.3.img.gz

    LibreELEC-Generic.x86_64-9.2.2.img.gz
    LibreELEC-Generic.x86_64-9.2.2.tar
    LibreELEC-Generic.x86_64-9.2.0.img.gz
    LibreELEC-Generic.x86_64-9.2.0.tar
  • Sorry, I don't have time to try older releases.

    I have some backup files 9.3.2, 9.2.3, 9.2.4. with full settings (~100MB / backup).

If you have one RPI4, I'd love to send one (Where can i upload as private?).
