Nvidia ION 1080p lag

    Hello!

    I have a Asrock 330 ION, which can play 1080p flawless with VDPAU. However,

    Graphic encoding does not engage at 1080p web streams, like SALTS and youtube. 100% cpu usage and it lags. 1080p works great over local network.

    I first read it could be a heat issue and the GPU would throttle and it will use CPU instead, but I have monitored the temp for both CPU and GPU and it's not over 43c. I have upgraded cooling.

    I have tried different acceleration options in the menu but it hasn't helped.

    My question is: Why does it use hardware acceleration on 720p but not 1080p web streams?

    Indeed. Everything is said.

    As long as those banned addons and repos are installed there is no support. Come back with a clean install, reproduce your issue and provide a logfile if the issue still persists.
