I have searched the forums for my exact problem but can't find anyone else having the same problem. I just upgraded from a Raspberry Pi 3 to a 4. I installed LiberElec on a SD card that came with the package that I purchased. I am running an 8TB WD Elements powered USB hard drive loaded with movies and TV shows. My problem is that LiberElec won't load my USB hard drive on startup. I have to unplug the USB cable from the Pi and plug it back in then the system will recognize it. I have tried the drive in both the 2.0 and 3.0 USB ports and the results are the same. I used the same drive on a older Raspberry Pi 3 running OSMC and it worked perfectly. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Do you use the external PSU of the HDD?
