Failed to scan chanels tvheadend DVB-C T230C2 MyGica

  • Hi all,

I bought two T230C DVB-C MyGica adapters and i can't make it work.

I was trying 2 different OS ( Coreelec and Libreelec).

Tvheadend recognizes the adapter on both when I'm using crazycat driver, everything looks ok.

when I'm trying to scan I'm getting: failed.

  • For your Intel HTPC I would try to update to some nightly build an see if there is a improvement (or boot from usb or soemthing), try to use it without any additional driver. test.libreelec.tv

It looks like the device is actually properly supported at the vanilla kernel.

Do a backup before because otherwise you can't downgrade without problems.

it sounds hopeful! I will try it! = )

Let me ask you, how is the process to update libreelec on x86 intel?

Which file I have to use? And how to use?

    LibreELEC-Generic.x86_64-9.80-nightly-20200812-6063236.img.gz

  • You are the best CvH! I tried today and it works!

I have to say that I tried a clean installation using LibreELEC-Generic.x86_64-9.80-nightly-20200812-6063236.img.gz but it doesnt works. I flash using a corsair flash drive but it doesnt boot. Say "error in mount flash libreelec". I tried using usb 2.0 and 3.0 port.

So what a did were to update using .tar version. (I place it on update folder and reboot)

I tried to install tvheadend 4.3 but I received an error message about compatibility.

Do you know how to install?

    I tried this: Generic-service.tvheadend42-4.3-1896.zip
