Sound drop outs during mp3 playback

Hi,

R Pi 4 running kodi 18.

Can somebody please help me with a problem that is driving me insane.

Whenever I listen to .mp3 files, I get persistent split second sound drop outs every 30 seconds or so. This doesn’t happen when I play .flac only .mp3 and the same mp3 files play fine on my pc and phone.

I read that this may be caused by replay gain being applied. I’ve tried turning this off but it doesn’t make any difference. All of my files do have replay gain tags applied.

Any ideas please?

What version of Libreelec ?

What is your rpi4 connected to and how ?

I created the xml and it now works, thank you.

I should also mention that I have a RPi 3 B+ running the same version of Kodi and got the same problem so this looks like Kodi 18 issue rather Pi 4 problem.
