Hello, this is my first time trying to use libreelec or any similar software.
I've installed libre-elec on an old Asus laptop and connected that laptop to my TV via hdmi cable.
As far as I can tell libre elec is running as intended I can install addons and etc but the TV when I select HDMI as the source just says it doesn't receive any signal.
There must be something obvious I don't know to do, any help will be most welcome.
As a note yesterday I installed libre elec on the laptop at first I had the same problem but after I restarted the laptop the TV recognized the HDMI. I then shut down the laptop and now it won't work again.
Edit: I'm closing this thread the issue was with the HDMI cable it was faulty.
PS: Anyone know how I can install firefox in place of chrome on libre elec ?
