Is there any chance to get RTL8821 (0bda:1a2b) wireless USB dongle working in LibreELEC? I was able to compile driver from here on my desktop, but how can I build/install it for LE?

You can build your own image with the driver included.

I'm not sure that forking+maintaining the whole LE because of one driver is overkill
Seems I need another approach.
