Kodi does not show .mkv or .avi

I have installed Kodi LibreELEC on a Pi4 however,

I am finding Kodi does not show .mkv or .avi from my NAS drive and only shows mp4 which means I cannot play them

Are there any solutions out there?

I don't want to convert all my movies to MP4.

Please provide a full debug log.

How to post a log (wiki)

1. Enable debugging in Settings>System Settings>Logging
2. Restart Kodi
3. Replicate the problem
4. Generate a log URL (do not post/upload logs to the forum)

use "Settings > LibreELEC > System > Paste system logs" or run "pastekodi" over SSH, then post the URL link

Thank you for your response, I really appreciate your time. I will do as you suggest. Could I confirm therefore, that mkv and avi should appear in the list of available movies if they are indeed in the movie directory?

No idea that you installed an add-on to watch movies for free? Strange.

But yeah, a "clean" Kodi setup is a first requirement for getting support.
