mount external hdd

    hi, I am trying to mount an external HDD through a usb hub and it does not mount. I tried formatting them as both NTFS an exFAT, but no success. I am on a Pi3 lei 9.2.1. The HDD is powered externally, and I confirmed that it is working on a windows machine. Here are the results of the commands that you usually ask for:

    blkid http://ix.io/2iX8

    mount http://ix.io/2iXq

    dmesg: http://ix.io/2iXx

    Update:

    I formated as ext4 and everything worked fine. The strange thing is that my usb that is NTFS is recognized successfully...

    EXT4 is currently the Linux default disk format, it's recommended when you permanently connect a HDD/SSD to a Linux system.
