IR remote (Hauppauge! WinTV Quad) not working

I'm, too, having troubles with my IR remote.

My Setup:

• Libreelec 9.2.2 (x86) on a HP Slimline-Desktop PC
• DVB-C tuner: Hauppauge WinTv QuadHD with IR-receiver
• Remote control came with DVB-Tuner

The remote isn't working at all - none of the buttons have any function.

I've read the section "Infrared remotes" in the wiki and am trying to figure out what the problem is - but I'm stuck at this point:

KodiKiste:~ # ir-keytable
No devices found

Does this mean, that no kernel module is loaded? The tuner works though, TVHeadend is up and running.

Any help appreciated...

Thanks for the link. That's an explanation.

I'll give FLIRC a try then and go for another remote control.
