  • IR remote (Hauppauge! WinTV Quad) not working

    I'm, too, having troubles with my IR remote.

    My Setup:

    • Libreelec 9.2.2 (x86) on a HP Slimline-Desktop PC
    • DVB-C tuner: Hauppauge WinTv QuadHD with IR-receiver
    • Remote control came with DVB-Tuner

    The remote isn't working at all - none of the buttons have any function.

    I've read the section "Infrared remotes" in the wiki and am trying to figure out what the problem is - but I'm stuck at this point:

    Does this mean, that no kernel module is loaded? The tuner works though, TVHeadend is up and running.

    Any help appreciated...

  • Always boots into safe mode

    Hi all,

    I'm not shure whether this should go into a new thread, but it seems as if I have got the same problem as Bedlore:

    A couple of weeks (months?) ago my LE9.0.2 installation on a Raspberry Pi 3B+ started crashing while booting and going into safe mode afterwards. As far as I remember I didn't do anything to the system that could have caused the malfunction... anyway, that's the status right now:

    When booting the first splash screen appears (LibreELEC), afterwards the screen turns black and stays black until the system reboots again and goes to safe mode.

    What I've tried so far:

    • disconnect any USB devices such as HDD, DVB-Receiver, DVD-Drive -> no success
    • got a complete new installation via SD-Creator -> no success
    • read and tried to understand the wiki-pages. I can log in via SSH and have found the logfiles via SAMBA. Here they are: kodi_crash.log and kodi.log.

    What else do you need?

    Any help appreciated..... :(
