New TV box that support HDMI or SPDIF audio passthrough

    Hello Guys,

    Can anyone please recommend a TV box that support HDMI or SPDIF audio passthrough ?

    My TV boxes stopped working with audio passthrough with the new Libreelec and new Kodi

    What should i be looking for in a new box to be sure it supports audio passthrough ?

    My RPi4 supports passthrough and if you need TOSLINK then hifiberry (or a Chinese clone) will offer this ability.

    I can't believe your TV Boxes stopped working with the latest releases.

    Please provide a full debug log.

    How to post a log (wiki)

    1. Enable debugging in Settings>System Settings>Logging
    2. Restart Kodi
    3. Replicate the problem
    4. Generate a log URL (do not post/upload logs to the forum)

    use "Settings > LibreELEC > System > Paste system logs" or run "pastekodi" over SSH, then post the URL link
