same problem by last nightly on testserver!!
LibreELEC-RK3399.arm-9.1-nightly-20190512-bf6f495-rock-pi-4.img.gz
can anyone test it please ?
nobody any Idea? In Libreelec 9.2 Branch, everything works fine!! No Rockpi4 users?
edit: @this monent only 9.0 works
the only branch on Github that work ist libreelec-9.0.
all newer has this problem...
SImilar experience here ... as soon as I'm doing a backup with nightlies or versions newer than <LibreELEC-RK3399.arm-8.90.015-rock-pi-4.img> the system freezes and dies ...
in new nightly builds, they fix this issue"!! THX alot
I don't think its just Samba. Copying from USB to internal storage of files larger than 500MB or so also crashes on rockpro64 when using nightlies.
rk3328 box also crashes when copying large files or during a tvh recording, even with latest nightly.
yes its not only samba. All kind of copy ofer 500 mb. Also restore libreelec settings. But in last nightlie it works...

The 6-15 nightly still exhibits this behavior. Which build is supposed to fix the issue?
On devel 20190605170818-f70861f everythings works... But on new LibreELEC-RK3399.arm-9.1-devel-20190615220550-10395eb-rock-pi-4.img.gz it doesnt copy again...
SO you are right... the problem is still there!
Seems to fixed in the 6-18 nightly LibreELEC-RK3399.arm-9.1-nightly-20190618-97181a0-rockpro64.img
sorry, but on 0620 the problem is still there.
error is still there on todays nightly!!
Can you try with latest 9.2 alpha 001?
libreelec-rk3399.arm-9.1.001.tar?mirrorlist for update tar or libreelec-rk3399.arm-9.1.001-rock-pi-4.img.gz?mirrorlist for rock pi 4 image
Nothing rockchip specific have really changed since 9.0 alpha 015, using nightly image is not recommended because it is using an older version of kodi (18.2rc1 vs 18.2/18.3).
If there is a consistent problem with crashes with nightly that are not seen in 9.0/9.2 images there is probably an issue with the newer version of gcc or glibc and rk 4.4 kernel.
yes, with this build (9.1.001) everything is working!!
Great, master/nightly builds will at some point (soon) change to use mainline linux. Recommendation for daily use devices is to stay on 9.2 alpha image until master/nightly is more feature complete.
where can i pull this source for my repo? THX alot
