My Zotac MCE Remote stop working after 9.0.0 Update

  • Hi

    Sorry for bad english.

I have Zotac nano with built-in ITE8713CIR and Zotac MCE Remote.

First used openelec, then migrated to Libreelec, the problems started with 8.2.5, but I just turned off the Libreelec settings/services lirc service and everything worked.

After upgrade to 9.0.0 i can't off lirc. What do I do now, this function is no longer in the settings.

I read theme My MCE remote stopped working, changes to lirc? and tried these advices, but nothing happened, the remote still don't work

Now after clean install 9.0.0 i see this

    Code
    LibreELEC:~ # ir-keytable
    Found /sys/class/rc/rc0/ (/dev/input/event5) with:
        Name: ITE8713 CIR transceiver

    And this

    Code
    LibreELEC:~ # ir-keytable -t

  • Hi,

I've got an "original" Microsoft MCE remote with the USB receiver that came with it.

    Looks like this: xbmc_mce_remote_control.jpg

Since the upgrade from 8.x to 9.0 it stopped working as well.

The usb receiver seems to work as the little led flashes when I press a button on the remote.

LibreELEC is just not reacting to it.. -_-

    Regards

    Michael
