Squeezelite with Hifiberry

Hi,

I am using a RPi 2 with Hifiberry DAC+ and Libreelec 8.2.5. I installed multimedia tools as I want to use squeezelite.

My hifiberry is activated with dtoverly=hifiberry-dacplus.

I know that I have to add dtparam audio=on for squeezelite. But when I add this line, my hifiberry is not recognized anymore and sound output is only hdmi.

When I remove dtparam audio=on my hifiberry works again, but my squeezeplayer isn‘t visible.

Can you please help me?

The best I can say is to try LE9 as LE8.2.5 development has ceased or at least reduced.

Otherwise I'd suggest asking at the Squeezelite or hifiberry forums.

I ve exactly the same problem with an AMP+.

But I can t Switch to LE 8.x because as far as I know Netflix only works with LE 9.x.

squeezelite comes with the -l switch to list devices and the -o switch to select a device.

Have you tried to use them?

If I remember correctly, to use a HifiBerry card use -o default:CARD=sndrpihifiberry
