Choosing the LibreELEC build for SMbox SM1

Hi

I'd love to install LibreELEC on an old Android TV box which was marketed as SMbox SM1, but I need some help to determine which is the right image to download.

I've opened up the box, and as far as I can see, these are the details.

Printed on the board is: S805Q_V2.0 2016.08.11

and there are the following chips:

maoi MA8601 4-port USB controller
sci S9083C WiFi controller
skhynix H27UCG8T2ETR 64Gbit(8192M x 8bit) Legacy NAND Flash Memory
nanya NT5CB128M16FP-DI-TR DRAM Chip DDR3 SDRAM 2Gbit x 2
ppt PM44-11BP network isolation chip?

It also has ‘QL 1713’ printed on the board.

I'd be grateful for any help as I'd love to get this box working.Let me know if you'd like me to upload any pictures.

Hi again.

I can see that there are three different builds available for the S805:

HD18Q
MXQ
m201d

I'm not sure which is the right one for my box - can anyone advise?

If it's Android then you should just install Kodi directly Downloads | Kodi | Open Source Home Theater Software

Thanks, but I want to install LibreELEC - that's why I'm here.

Can anyone advise which version is the right one for my box?

Unlike S905+ where there's a semi-official generic image, there's nothing for Meson 8 hardware. So you need to experiment with the available builds and see what works.
