    Just saw this in the Twitter feed...

    ...and the next day, they release VLC 3.0 !

    Hmm, that guy looks vaguely familiar...

        

    And what is this ?

    ... "VLC TV" with a remote control ...

    ...does anyone have an idea what that could be ?

    No idea. Some VLC devs occasionally attend Kodi devcon to drink beer and share ideas, but we're not VLC and not party to their ideas. You'll have to ask them directly :)
