Its a fresh install. I format SD with SDFormatter, then use Libreelec USB-SD creator. Select Odroid C2 LibreELEC-Odorid_C2.arm-8.95.001.img.gz and Write it.

Understood and appreciate the honest info. I'll just have to skip LE9 then on my WP2 as this is a deal breaker for my setup (Optical out to my receiver only), I can get by on 8.2.5 until the mainline kernel versions are hopefully stable.

Hi!. Another try. I install LE8.2.5 in a SDCard. Then I go to ".update" directory and wget last Libreelec C2 8.95.001. (This will dismiss problems with burn the IMG).

When restart It do the update of kernel and system. After reboot... Only show the logo and the version but not start KODI splash screen.

I have: rev0.2 20160226 version

Hi!. This is the state when insert fresh LE 8.95.001 for Odroid C2.

I try LE reborn remix and same result.

I try coreelec and it works!.

Yes. If I install 8.2 0 problems. Fresh install of LE9.0 hangs on first boot. Download into .update folder LE 9.0 hangs in first boot (update kernel and system ok, but on reboot hangs in logo).

You tried to update an existing build or you created a fresh sdcard with my build? You can't update a vanilla LE 9 build to mine.

Can be the problem be using arm vs aarch?

I dont know but if only happend to me its very strange. I have other boards so dont worry.

Updating from a CE build failed too? It should not matter what arch you used before if you create a fresh sd

CE is coreelec?. I dont try to update from this version only install it and I have no problems.

So if I am the only with problems with OdroidC2 dont worry. I have more boards:

RPi2

Orange Pi plus 2e

Rock64

Yes CE = CoreELEC so you could give it a try and see if the update fails too. Do you have any eMMC stuff installed?

Tomorrow I'll try and tell you the result. I dont have eMMC.

After extract the gz file it say: Missing (source) kernel or SYSTEM

Have you tried to update with a tar file? Pretty strange all in all

I cant see tar file for LE 9.0.

So, dont worry. I can use other boards. My odroid C2 have a glinch, jajajaja.

Installed noobs on a new memory card and an the basic libreelec install. Then upgraded it to 8.95.1

I then went to configure everything and noticed that Aeon Nox skin is missing along with some others.

My family really likes the Aeon Nox skin. How to get the skin?
