Netflix Addon not working as of 14-11-2018

Hi Team

Anyone have any ideas why the Netflix Addon may have stopped working overnight? Nothing has been changed on the RPi3 we're running, and everything was fine last night, but today we load a program, get the spinning load circle and .... nothing. Menus etc work fine, just not video or audio at all.

Only thing I can think of is the input stream.adaptive is incorrect / out of date, but it won't allow me to update through normal 'update Addon' scenario.

I can upload logs if necessary.

As we do not have a crystal ball in our midst, log files are the next best thing.

Apparently, there have been Netflix issues opened, looks like Netflix have stopped supporting the MSL or whatever, from about yesterday.

Thanks for those links Klojum. I didn't think there was anything I could do this end, but happy to help test any potential fixes.

Update

I managed to SSH into my RPi3 and inserted the couple of lines that jakermx suggested and now the video plays, but it looks like it's upscaling a 320x200 video. Guess Ill have to wait until some people much smarter than I look at the issue.

Update 2:

Another reboot and all seems correct again. Thanks again Klojum.

FYI: about an hour ago a fix was commited to the master branch. Latest master version is working fine here master.zip

Thanks a lot. Fixed my problem right away!

Should however have come with auto-update as well, right?

It did apparently not for me...

FYI: Netflix addon version 0.13.21 has been released a few hours ago and is available from the netflix repository. Auto-update worked well here and everything's fine again - for now

Just tried the Netflix Addon on my Asus Tinkerboard using the nightly build and the playback seemed a little jittery.

Just tested and it's working fine here in Austria on RPi3B+, LE 8.95.002, Netflix addon v0.13.21, inputstream.adaptive v2.3.12.0.

IIRC I usually needed to restart kodi (or reboot LE) after widevine updates, otherwise I'd get the spinning circle and was then dropped back to the list after a couple of seconds. So doing a reboot after widevine installation or update won't hurt.
