need help with ariva 4k tuner

    deco information: ferguson ariva 4k combo s905 1gb / 8gb tuner dvb s-s2 avl2011 dvb t-t2 avl6762 (I only need dvb S s2 working, dvbt isnt important for me).

    I just need tvheadend and dvb-s to work, I have tried different versions and different dtb.img armbian coreelec alexelec ....

    the best result is with libreelec 8.2.4 weteek dvb test2 and the dtb of k1plus.

    the system starts successfully

    ethernet works / wifi dont

    detects the dvb built-in as avl6862 on all cards (presumably 6211 + 6762)

    with the own dtb from android (5.1 kernel 3.14.29 gcc linaro) the system doesnt boot i try to modify k1plus.dtb severals times my self without any succes(i dont have idea what i was doing) sometimes boot succed but dont detect dvb , mostly dont boot.

    I do not know what else to try, I would need your help.

    I'm not too sure but I think this box/tuner may not be supported - even though it seems to work, or the image/dtb combination is causing the issue.

    Can you provide the output of

    cat /storage/.kodi/temp/kodi.log|paste

    and

    dmesg | paste

    It "might" show an issue, but I'm not optimistic.

    i have also an ariva 4k Android box and the libreelec-image mentioned above is running well, but WITHOUT a dvb- TUNER :)

    there is no DVB driver active (and therefore not to be choosen in TVHeadend)

    even the crazycat-module doesn´t help

    Is there a way to integrate the AVL-drivers into the image or to add it after install on SD card ?

    i saw that AFL1 has done some work (linux-drivers: build internal dvb driver AVL6862 for Amlogic/S9xx dev… · LibreELEC/LibreELEC.tv@2c02f11 · GitHub)


    OR is it possible to compile a new build by myself with integrated driver ?
