In which release will be Skin Shortcuts integreated?

i want to create own sources in Main Menü and it does not work actually

Skin Shortcuts..?! At least not in Kodi Leia as far as I can tell.

Just from a practical standpoint: how many times per hour/day/week/month are you planning to change the active Kodi skin? Or is Skin shortcuts about something entirely different?

Some Kodi skins support additional customisation options (or just hack extra menu items in, which is also what some users do) but the default (Estuary) skin is deliberately designed to be simple and it doesn't support that level of tweaking.

Yes chewitt, this is exactly what i mean, i´m using the Skins Aeon Nox Silvo Mod and Estuary Mod V.2 and i make a difference in my library view between movies for kids (animated) and adults (horror...) and without Skin Shortcuts Support it does not work, in Kodi 17 it works.

Skin issues need to be taken up with the skin author via their support thread in Kodi forums. Anything in that department isn't going to be an LE issue that we'll understand or be able to fix (not our forté).

It's not a skin issue. Skin Shortcuts is not fully updated for Kodi 18.

In that case it's a Kodi issue, and you're still in the wrong forum for reporting core Kodi issues

Btw this core function is only available with 3rd party skins like Estuary Mod (Estuary MOD V2 - KODI 18 (UPDATED 05/08/18)).

This was already very often requested but always declined because estuary should be simple and minimal (you don't need necessarily that script to do this kind of function). Sadly you have to go that route for that core function till someone realise that it would be nice and helpful to integrate it at the default skin. Ofc you can go the official workaround way and add an smart playlist at favourites.
