Hi to all and season's greetings,
I just got a technotrend S2-4650 CI (I also have a Terratec S7 rev 4 )
I tried both iof them on a LibreELEC-RPi2.arm-7.90.009.img
None of them are recognized so far. I have seen that the technotrend seems to be a variation of the DVBSky S960CI device which is recognized (Patch).
The device is seen but no module is attached, here are the Vendor and product codes.
[ 2.758442] usb 1-1.2: new high-speed USB device number 4 using dwc_otg
[ 2.848902] usb 1-1.2: New USB device found, idVendor=0b48, idProduct=3017
[ 2.848911] usb 1-1.2: New USB device strings: Mfr=1, Product=2, SerialNumber=3
[ 2.848915] usb 1-1.2: Product: TechnoTrend USB2.0
[ 2.848919] usb 1-1.2: Manufacturer: CityCom GmbH
The question being: is there a way to get one of these working ?
If yes, how ?
Thanks in advance for your support.

try LibreELEC-RPi2.arm-7.90.010-4.9.0-TBS-T230C-0.2.img.gz
with LE 7.95.1 (Beta 1) you should be able to use the "official" LE version

Cheers, I'll try it out tonight !
Will the LibreELEC BETA support the newer DigitalDevices DVB-C Cards?

not out of the box (most likely), my builds here support them of course

Nice, it's working now, on a DISEC 4:1 currently scanning.
Thanks a billion !!!
Just for information (probably aready known), my terratec S7 release 4 is not functional (but I epected it).
Question related to the transcoding of the incoming stream (my internet upload is limited to 3 MBps so I'm kind of interrested by this feature for the outgoing streams)
I read that tvheadend is capable of transcoding the streams, but in the stream panel I can't find the transcoding related parameters, somwhere I also read that this is enabled at compilation time (including the libav/ffmeg stuff). As i?m a newbee in this matter, I raise the question here, can I do that with the release you provided ?
my terratec S7 release 4 is not functional
pls dmesg | paste and post the link, maybe it is trivial
but in the stream panel I can't find the transcoding related parameters
only works for Generic images (due CPU power) BUT you could use the EMBY addon and set up pvr with tvheadend, then it gets transcoded (emby supports hardware transcoding at the rpi)

Cool, thanks again, as per the terratec, I have removed it and rebooted so I will need to put it back on to get the related message (from what I can recall, I onl saw the USB scan messages (New device found with idVendor and the usual stuff, no driver triggered or trying to attach to the USB or download firmware). Anyways, I'll get ou this ASAP.
Cheers
Here it is, dmesg after connecting the terratec

no support for 0ccd:10a6 in dvb_usb_az6027 driver.
I build an image with the fix from dvb-usb-az6027: Terratec S7 rev.4 experimental support. · crazycat69/linux_media@be08267 · GitHub (tx crazycat).
