How to get rid of black bars from movies ?

Hi,

My Panasonic LED TV has a USB port. When I watch movies using the TV's built in port I see no black bars but when I watch the same movies using LibreELEC (using Raspberry Pi)

I get black bars on the top and bottom of the videos.

Any ideas about how to get rid of the black bars ?

Can you give the MediaInfo details on of those movies that "displays" differently?

A bigger problem is occurring. Whenever I on/off an electrical switch in the house the display of the raspberry pi (connected to my TV) "flickers".

Most likely a problem with your electric installation. Call an electrician near by and see if he can fix it. Not a general Kodi problem. And solving eletrical problems via internet forums is a PITA and also pretty dangerous. I´ve seen ppl writing pretty much nonsense and bullshit.

Call an eletrician is the best advice one can give.
