I can not use the replay tv on libreelec, because 80% of content is muu8.

Thank you in advance for your help

  • WHaouuuuu !!!!!

    Blueribb !!!

sorry, because I thought your idea was stupid.

But, I still try... AND I'm stupid

    it works !!!

thank you very much, but I do not understand...

    My issue is the following...

on my tv catchup, the content is in m3u8

for my test I could change the m3u8 to m3u.

this brings up the list of all TV streams that are in the m3u8

    And everything works !!!!

but I can not do that on my tv catchup.

how to make libreelec read the m3u8?

    Openelec read the m3u8.

    but libreelec no ??

    I miss a plugin?

    Blueribb

    Thanks Thanks Thanks....

  • On the page you linked:

Click on Clone or Download, then "Download ZIP"

Do you know how to install a zip ?

I did not install this nor do I want to. I can't help you with setup if necessary.

  • the zip file is not an extension.

it does not have a file addon.xml.

openelec play m3u8, but I do not know how he does it.

openelec play m3u8, but I do not know how he does it.

So you don't know how to install the ZIP ?

Go to system > settings > add-ons > install from zip file > browse to zip file > click on it to install

  • Hi @all,

I work on this plugin video for Kodi (plugin.video.catchuptvandmore)

This plugin parse some replay of french channels and other country like TF1 (TF1 Replay) and push the link parsed (mp4 or m3u8) to kodi

In the some cases of m3u8, libreelec doesn't seem to be capable to read them. It is work without problem on Kodi (vesion Windows or version Openlec)

The m3u8 file are maybe not well formated. Libreelec is more restrictive on this case ?

There is a configuration missing in libreelec ?

How works the extension you propose? How is it work with a plugin ?

How can we open an issue to a developper to see this case ? We can send more m3u8 files not working on libreelec if needed.

    Thanks,

    Wwark.

  • I tried installing the zip and it fails to install. Not really sure what the issue is but I would suggest either using Openelec or changing your files from m3u8 to m3u if possible.

  • Test with a current milhouse release because then you're testing a codebase that is being actively developed (unlike LE 7.x-8.x which are not going to see any more releases, or OE which hasn't been touched in 12-months). If the problem is resolved, great. If not, report the issue via Kodi forums to their developers.

  • I don't have this environnement on my side RPI/Librelelec. Gilles0606 done the test with the last version of libreelec but it doesn't work.

Meanwhile, I have done a test in Kodi 18 alpha 2 on windows and I can play this m3u8. (attached in the ticket)

I think it might just a configuration issue but I don't have this environnent to test on my side. Do we still need to ask Kodi ?

  • i test with LibreELEC-RPi2.arm-9.0-Milhouse-20180607210748-%230607-g8a0bf6c.tar and same case.

    m3u8 not work ....... heeelpppppp..... ;-)

  • I found...

not the solution, but the problem ...

a m3u8 does not work if it contains a m3u8.

    a m3u can contain a m3u8.

but a m3u8 does not work if he himself contains a m3u8

    on openelec a m3u8 can contain a m3u8.

it is a problem of recursiveness.

but I do not know what to do or look to fix that?

  • gilles0606   wwark if its helpful?

Just tested cdl.m3u file provided in 1st post of this thread on my rpi3b+ running latest nightly #0609 of Libreelec for rpi and live playback commences OK

Also tested on Win10 with recent nightly of Kodi from Files... and playback is ok too
