Amlogic power on from USB/remote

Hello,

I have some chinese Amlogic 905 devices that work really well. The only problem I have that the don't support power on from USB.

They just power on from they own remote, but not from a USB IR receiver.

Is there any Amlogic device that could power on from USB?

The (final) answer is no, because this would require a USB port to remain in a powered state while the box is off, and manufacturers of cheap Amlogic boxes do not invest in the power circuitry that's required to make that happen.

It's not exactly what you want but will work on most of these devices.

My ODROID C2 works fine using a USB > Barrel power cord with power supplied from the USB port on the TV.

With eMMC flash storage it boots in 9 seconds and is actually quicker to startup vs my 4K TV.
