is there any chance to get HDR working?
I bought the new NUC7I3DNH2E and all looks fine.
4k @ 60hz work
HD-Sound work
HDMI-CEC work
HDR not working...
TV: LG B7D 55"
AV Receiver: Denon AVR-X3400H

Intel drivers in the Linux kernel do not currently support HDR, but development is ongoing. Kodi Krypton also has no formal support for HDR, but this is expected to become part of the Leia release. If HDR is a big requirement you will have to suffer Windows for a while longer.

... so is HDR working with the kaby lake and apollo lake nucs in the libreelec 9 milhouse builds? I thought this would work.

Did you try Libreelec i as well? The milhouse-builds?

I will repeat what chewitt said. There Is no HDR support currently.
HDR isn't currently supported by the mainline linux kernel. When it is we will support it.
