I tried a couple of times to get help here, but to no avail.
Anyway a bit of stumbling in the dark got me to this page - Fix: Cannot Access Network Shares after Update 1709 - Appuals.com - and 2nd solution worked for me. I hope this helps anyone with the same problem.

Inviting others to use your insecure network connection does not seem to be the best solution to me.
It's how the WannaCry flood started. But, it's your network.

That is NOT a fix - that's an insecure workaround. There are lots of threads here with the correct fix.
