Can't access tty on Intel NUC

  • Hey guys,

i'm running the current stable release of "Generic AMD/Intel/nVidia GPU HTPC" on my Intel NUC (D34010WYK). Libre Elec is installed on a USB3-Drive - not a SSD.

When starting/booting the system (from power off state) i get the following error. When resetting the system via strg+alt+del the next boot is completed without any problems.

It seems only the first boot after the intel nuc is powered on is affected.

    Code
Starting debugging shell... type exit to quit ***
Can't access tty; job control turned off

I got the same problem on the previous openelec-installation (which was an old one) . So i switched to a current libre elec-build and the error still exists.

Do you have any Ideas on this issue? Are there more information i can give you to help me out?

    Thank you in advance!

  • I had this in the past, I assumed it was a problem with either the usb or the image. So I wiped the usb with a zero fill program, then re wrote the image.

I was happily running libreelec from usb, then saw a cheap 64gb ssd & installed to that.

    It didn't make any difference.
